The article talks about players wanting to leave college football early to go to the NFL but due to the current rules, that is not possible. Ohio State standout running back, Maurice Clarett, did do something that had never ben done in the NFL but was seen in 1971 when Spencer Haywood, a former University of Detroit basketball star, sued the NBA successfully and made it able to enter the draft straight out of high school. Now the NFL also does it.
